BPS CHARTERED PSYCHOLOGIST PATHWAY
As the formal Training Route for BPS Chartered Coaching Psychologist is not yet available, there are still no clear details on the specific required courses or programmes of study to follow (although these are likely to be University based).
Currently there are two chartership routes available, which are an Accelerated route or Professional route. As a next step it can be helpful to review the following flow chart on the BPS website.
When choosing the Accelerated or Professional route, relevant coaching psychology CPD/training needs to be demonstrated in the portfolio. This is when relevant coaching and coaching psychology modular training programmes and shorter courses, such as those offered by the Centre for Coaching, can appear during a portfolio within the Training/Practice Narrative, Standards Mapping document, CPD record and/or professional plan (this is route dependent).
