ASSOCIATION FOR COACHING
The Association for Coaching was founded in 2002. The Centre for Coaching, International Academy for Professional Development is an organisational member. The Association has a Register of Members and a list of qualified coaches. The Association runs training and networking events and publishes a newsletter and journal. 

Our centre runs the Advanced Diploma in Coaching which is an Association for Coaching Accredited Diploma in Coach Training. 

 


BRITISH PSYCHOLOGICAL SOCIETY
The British Psychological Society is the representative body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. It has national responsibility for the development, promotion and application of psychology for the public good, and promotes the efficiency and usefulness of its members by maintaining a high standard of professional education and knowledge. The Centre for Coaching and the Centre or Stress Management courses are: Approved by the British Psychological Society Learning Centre for the purposes of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR COACHING PSYCHOLOGY
This is the leading international body for the coaching psychology field. It is an international professional membership body established to further the discipline and profession of coaching psychology. The Centre has achieved Approved Centre Status with the Society therefore our courses are recognised by the Society.

INSTITUTE OF LEADERSHIP

The Institute of Leadership (IoL) is a leading professional body. Join their unique learning experience, access 1000’s of leadership resources, and become a professional. The IoL have a new accreditation system.

By attending our IoL Development Programmes, our Learners become eligible to join the Institute of Leadership (IoL) at Associate and Full Member levels. Successful completion of the 5-day Coaching Development Programme or the 5-day Psychological Coaching Programme  provides eligibility at Associate Membership Level of the Institute of Leadership (subject to completion of the administrative forms). Successful completion of both programmes provides eligibility of the Institute at Full Membership level.

INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTS

Objectives: To encourage management excellence and specialist expertise; To help members achieve their personal aspirations, fulfil their career ambitions and develop their innate potential; To support lifelong learning and encourage education in management and specialist areas; To give professional recognition to the knowledge and skills of managers and specialists. Membership Applicants will be assessed on their Education, Training, Knowledge, Skill and Experience (K.S.E.) and responsibility. Due consideration will be given to those who are qualified only by practical experience. There are many people who, through no fault of their own, have not had the opportunity to gain academic qualifications during their careers. These people may also apply for membership based on their own individual merits, practical experience and position.

 

The IMS recognises the Certificate in Professional Development programmes run by the Centre and International Academy (a Recognised Training Provider).
